Since photography is not my main activity, the time I dedicate to it is an essential factor in producing quality images. This therefore requires me to carefully select the projects/sessions in which I would like to engage. As a reminder, my favorite photographic subjects range from intimate portraits to female nudes whose beauty and sensuality I aim to capture.
This being said, here are my terms:
- All models must be of legal age (no exceptions).
- No follow-up will be given to requests that do not include a link to the model's professional portfolio (no smartphone photos please…).
- In view of the session, the model will pay particular attention to beauty care (hair removal, fingernails and toenails, makeup, hairstyle, etc.) and will refrain from wearing tight clothing or underwear. She will also make sure to be well rested.
- A photo session is based on establishing a relationship of trust between the photographer and their model. I am therefore not in favour of the presence of a third person accompanying the model, as this risks distracting both the photographer and the model. If you are suspicious by nature, it may be better to forgo working together.
- An exchange between the model and the photographer must take place by messaging or email prior to the shooting in order to settle the details of the project.
- A photographer-model contract will be signed between the photographer and the model. It specifies the rights and obligations of each party as well as the conditions of use of the photographs.
- No raw files or contact sheets will be given to the model.
- Preparing a session requires a lot of investment in time and money. It may happen that the model has a last-minute impediment, a delay or simply that she has changed her mind and renounces to pose for me: all this is understandable and acceptable as long as the photographer is treated with respect and courtesy. This implies that unless there is a case of force majeure, the photographer must be informed of the model's decision at least 24 hours before the planned session.
Also, note that:
- I do not create books, fashion photographs, or content for paid sites.
- I don't use any particular physical criteria, and the distinctiveness of each model will be respected. However, a slender figure, an elegant face, and the absence of tattoos or piercings (unless they are discreet) will be preferred.
- I enjoy working with models that are experienced, show personality and charm, comfortable with their bodies and nudity, and actively taking part in the creative process by sharing their ideas, poses and attitudes.
- Although my portfolio mainly includes nude photographs, please know that this is in no way a prerequisite for doing a session with me. It is entirely possible to create beautiful sensual images that suggest more than they reveal…
In the end, it's always the model who sets her own limits with the photographer, depending on her desires and feelings during the photoshoot.
